Every year, we, as human being, draw the same pattern: the year finishes, we do a mental summary of what we achieved, whether good or bad things happened to us, and we make “good resolutions” for the year to come, such as for the most popular: “lose weight and get fit”, “quit smoking”, “save money” or “get more rest”. If you landed on this page, you are probably done (or about to complete) BBG 1. If that’s the case, congratulations! After completing the BBG 1, I was not sure whether I should continue with #2 or redo the first one. If you’re in the same boat, you landed on the right page! There is no real answer here, everybody is different. I personally was hesitating because I could not do push-ups on my legs, (I was doing it on my knees) and I found BBG 1 really challenging (since around week 6-8). I absolutely love my post-workout snacks. Actually, this is what motivates me: I give my best and suffer because I know I will enjoy the afterward reward, protein-packed snack.
This week, I made chickpeas and peanut butter muffins but it is 240 calories (too much for this week !). I am a bit intolerant to chickpeas and I put too much of it in the prepping, so it was definitely not the best for my stomach.

HIIT stands for High-Intensity Interval training. To put it in a nutshell, it is a workout that is made of intervals of fast-paced movement (running for example) to make the heart beats faster, followed by recovery time (lower movement). The ratio is usually 30:30 or 20: 30: Fast time at 100% capacities for 30 seconds and then slower movements for 30 seconds before repeating. HIIT cardio is apparently very effective and allows you to burn an equal amount of calories in 10 minutes than a 30 minutes regular cardio workout. Read more
If you follow my BBG journey, you know I exercise in the morning. I’ve decided to do so because there is way less people in the morning and there is always at least one free room to exercise. At night (late afternoon), all the rooms are taken for collective workout and I don’t feel like doing my workout in the middle of cardio equipment! Read more
